Information to Sponsors, Contributors, or Donors
The Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research is a nonprofit, federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation (EIN #91-1452438) established at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. SIBCR receives and administers grants and contributions in support of research and educational activities.
Funding for such support can be made by check payable to 'Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research'. Please note that the checks should not be made to the investigator or jointly with the investigator. A cover letter stating the purpose of the donation should accompany the check. In order to allow the broadest and most flexible use of the funding, we request that donations or other support be unrestricted whenever possible and this can be specifically stated in the cover letter.
If there are any restrictions or limitations, please indicate in the cover letter.
The Institute will acknowledge receipt of funding. Upon request and where appropriate, acceptance of purposes and conditions will also be acknowledged.
